British hydrogen delegation visits ZELTWANGER

On 5 December 2025, a delegation of innovative UK companies with a focus on hydrogen technologies was a guest at ZELTWANGER. The program point was part of the multi-day delegation tour “Hydrogen Technologies & Innovations – Baden-Württemberg & UK,” organized by Innovate UK and the Steinbeis Europa Zentrum.

During the visit day, the group stopped at ZELTWANGER Leaktesting & Automation GmbH in Dusslingen. On site, ZELTWANGER provided insights into solutions for leak testing key components in hydrogen systems. The exchange covered, among other topics, reliable detection of micro-leaks, demanding pressure dynamics, and possible influences from tracer gases. Application-specific test methods were demonstrated with very low detectable leak rates and testing with air and helium, also in combined use, ranging from individual test stations to fully automated systems.

The delegation then visited the production site of ZELTWANGER Maschinenbau GmbH in Tübingen, where visitors were able to gain an impression of the possibilities of high-precision manufacturing. On modern CNC machining centers, components are produced with high dimensional accuracy and technical cleanliness, supported by verified quality processes. In this way, ZELTWANGER supports its customers from the prototype phase through to series production, including large components such as end plates for electrolyzers.
