New Leak Testing Solutions at the Battery Show 2025

From June 3 to 5, 2025, ZELTWANGER will present advanced technologies for leak testing of battery and fuel cell systems as well as their components, such as battery cells and bipolar plates, at the Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart.

One of the highlights is a new solution for detecting leaks in filled and sealed battery cells. Thanks to a special analyzer, the technology enables the detection of electrolyte vapors without the use of tracer gases or vacuum. Even leak rates as low as 5 × 10⁻⁷ mbar·l/s are reliably detected. This opens up new possibilities for end-of-line leak testing, positively impacting machine concepts and production processes. ZELTWANGER will also showcase a new solution for leak testing of bipolar plates. The focus here is on high-precision tools and measurement methods.
