AKE and ZELTWANGER Launch North America Cooperation

On February 18, 2026, ZELTWANGER and AKE technologies GmbH officially sealed their strategic cooperation for the North American market. The signing took place at AKE technologies’ headquarters in Passau, Germany.

The agreement was accompanied by Bavarian State Minister Hubert Aiwanger as well as representatives of the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy (StMWi). The partnership is the result of the StMWi delegation trip to North and South Carolina last year, in which Hubert Aiwanger and Michael Schurm (Managing Director, AKE) participated. During the visit, ZELTWANGER USA was represented by Manuele D’Aversa (CEO / Managing Director ZELTWANGER Group & President & CEO ZELTWANGER USA) at the BMW E-Mobility Roundtable in Spartanburg and at the Hydrogen Panel in Charleston.

The aim of the cooperation is to implement projects in the United States locally, efficiently and close to the customer. ZELTWANGER contributes its expertise in leak testing, automation and precision manufacturing, as well as its presence in Charleston, South Carolina. AKE technologies complements the partnership with technological expertise, including in the automotive, energy and industrial production sectors.

Through this strategic collaboration, both companies are strengthening their transatlantic business relations and laying the foundation for sustainable growth in the North American market.
